15 ARSENAL PLAYERS PARTICIPATE IN ODP
CAMP
Congratulations to the 15 Arsenal Colorado
players who competed at Far West Regional
Camp during the past two weeks. They
competed against players from 14 western
states to determine the player pools for the
Regional and National teams. Boys and girls
in the '97, '96, '95, '94, and '93 birth
years spent 5 days in McMinnville, OR (boys)
and Moscow, ID (girls). The days were filled
with games, training and classroom sessions
conducted by the Region IV staff coaches.
Through the training and games the Region IV
coaching staff identifies and selects
players for the training pool for each age
group Regional team. Players selected for
the training pool will attend a holdover
camp July 26th through the 30th to determine
the 18 players who will make up the Regional
team and attend different events throughout
the year. In addition, national staff coach
Michelle French attended the '96 girl's camp
to select 21 players from Region IV to
attend the U14 girl's national ID camp.
Congratulations to Josh King ('95),
Koree Willer ('94), Katie Couperus
('95) and Kaeli Schmidt for being
selected to the Regional pool and good luck
at camp next week.
