Arsenal colorado Youth recreational League FAQ
WHAT IS REGISTRATION?
Registration is the process of identifying the children who wish to participate in the Youth Recreational League. It requires you to complete a Player Registration Form and to pay the appropriate fee for the season.
HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD?
In order to register you must complete a Player Registration Form or register online and pay the appropriate registration fee. All of the participants in our program are registered with the Colorado Soccer Association (CSA).
WHEN DOES REGISTRATION START?
Registration for the Spring Season begins in January following the emailing of the January Newsletter. Registration for the Fall Season begins in June following the emailing of the June Newsletter.
WHO RECEIVES THE NEWSLETTER?
The Newsletter is sent via email to every player listed in our recreational database. To receive a Newsletter simply notify the office that you wish to be on the mailing list.

WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION FEE?
The Registration Fee is based on the Age Division in which your child is registered. There is a chart listing the Age Division and corresponding fee on the Player Registration Form. The maximum fee for any family is $275.00 (please note that PDL players are factored in at the U9/U10 registration fee).

WHAT TEAM WILL MY CHILD BE ON?
Team assignments within an age division are based on school preference with subdivision according to gender. The pool of players will be organized by school. As many FULL teams as possible for each school are formed from the pool of players. Additional information is available here.
WHAT IS A COMBINATION TEAM?
After the formation of FULL teams, the remaining players from the pool will be assigned to "combination" teams. Every effort will be made to develop "combination" teams within reasonable geographic proximity.
WHAT ABOUT "PLAYING UP"?
All players are required to play on teams within their age division, however, a player may "PLAY UP" one age division. In order to "PLAY UP" you must clearly state on your Registration form which Age Division you wish to "PLAY UP" in and pay the fee appropriate to that Age Division.
HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE ON A TEAM?
The number of players on a team is determined by the Age Division; please refer to the chart on the Player Registration Form. Team size will not exceed the stated number unless a coach is needed, in which case the coach's child may be added.
WHAT IS LATE REGISTRATION?
All Player Registration Forms received after the registration deadline will be placed on a wait list and will be assigned to teams on a "first come, first served" basis as space becomes available. There are NO new teams formed after the registration deadline.
WHAT ABOUT FEE WAIVERS?
The policy of Arsenal Colorado is that a child shall not be denied an opportunity to participate due to financial need. Fee Waiver Policy and Procedures are available upon request.
WHAT ABOUT REFUNDS?
Arsenal Colorado RECREATIONAL Refund Policy (does NOT include PDL – see competitive / PDL request refund policy): All requests for refunds must be in writing and submitted to the League Registrar on the appropriate REQUEST FOR REFUND form. The Registrar must act on requests for refunds in a timely manner of receipt of the request. All refunds will be subject to a $15 processing fee and NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER the season begins. No refunds will be issued due to game or practice cancellations due to weather, acts of God or forfeits of opposing teams. The decision as to what portion of the Registration Fee may be refunded shall rest solely with the League Registrar. Refund Request Forms are available in the Soccer Office or on our website: www.soccerfortcollins.org. The decision of the Registrar will be processed and the refund will be issued in a timely manner. All refunds of registration fees will be issued in the same manner the fee was collected (check or credit card). Under no circumstances will refunds of registration fees be paid out directly from the office.
