In Loving Memory
Karen Greer | 1950-2025
The Arsenal family is sad to announce the passing of Karen Greer.
A cornerstone of the Northern Colorado community, Karen spent over three decades devoted to the Fort Collins Soccer Club, where she became a beloved and familiar presence to generations of players, families, and coaches. Her warmth, dedication, and unwavering passion left a lasting impact on youth soccer and on all who had the good fortune to know her. If you were involved in the sport in Northern Colorado, you likely knew Karen—and your life was brighter for it.
Karen had a rare gift: the ability to make everyone feel like they mattered. She never met a stranger. Whether you were a lifelong friend or someone she’d just met, she welcomed you with a genuine smile, a listening ear, and an open heart. Her empathy was boundless, her kindness effortless, and her laughter unforgettable.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Dennis Greer, with whom she shared a life full of love and partnership. She is survived by her three children—Chris (Kate), Brett (Mariah), and Allie (Brian)—and her deeply adored grandchildren: Bladen, Quincy, Gracie, and Mack. She is also survived by her brother Richard (Jody). Her family was the joy of her life, and she treasured every moment with them.
Karen’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and quiet strength. She leaves behind a community forever changed by her presence, and a reminder to all of us to lead with kindness, serve with heart, and love without limits.
